Another Bone Tactical original born from years of making our own tools and equipment for clandestine operations when what we needed did not exist... enter the Non-Permissive Environment (NPE) Ghost Knife. An untraceable, concealable, non-metallic, and virtually undetectable blade that is impervious to the elements and mission ready.

Untraceable Design

The knife itself is completely unmarked, with no logos or insignia whatsoever. That, and the fact that it's simply a higher-quality version of a common paring knife profile make it nearly impossible to trace. In other words, if it can't be tracked back to us, it can't be linked back to you. Even the rubber grip section is resistant to fingerprint and DNA testing. Because of its 100% non-metallic construction, it defeats both standard magnetic wanding and walk-through metal detectors.

Sheath Systems and Materials

Our proprietary Ghost Knife is constructed from advanced Zirconia Carbide (harder and sharper than steel), injection-molded polymer, and high-friction elastomer. We offer two distinct thermoplastic sheath options:

• Neck Carry Sheath: Features a Type III 550lb paracord lanyard equipped with a polymer pressure-release barrel snap. This acts as a vital safety breakaway feature so the cord cannot be used against you in a grapple.
• IWB Carry Sheath: Designed for Inside the Waist Band concealment, utilizing the same Type III 550lb paracord to attach the clip to the sheath, preserving the fully non-metallic profile.

Of course, the NPE Ghost Knife can be further modified by the end user—taped, tucked, or strapped anywhere on the body for absolute deep cover.

Durability & Lifespan

The way things are going, you may soon wish you had one in every bug-out bag and vehicle. They are completely impervious to the elements (no rusting, warping, or falling apart) so they're perfect for boating, scuba diving, fishing, and stashing in places only you know about for emergency retrieval. Hardy, basic, and even durable with proper use.

Since the Zirconia Carbide blade ships shaving sharp and is harder than any steel in the world, it will likely never need to be sharpened. It will survive a lifetime of normal use with no maintenance whatsoever. The elastomer grip provides excellent traction in any conditions.

Operational Parameters and Maintenance

This is not a hard-use blade like the EDC CANK or EDC Relentless; this is an affordable NPE tool that must be treated accordingly. This blade is so much harder than steel that it is naturally also more brittle. Therefore, it should be both used and carried differently than a steel knife. The Ghost Knife will chip under extreme torque; this is normal for the type of material. Do not drop your unsheathed blade on hard surfaces. Do not try to use this type of blade as a screwdriver or pry bar. If used as designed, the Ghost Knife will outlast its original owner, and we warrant them as such. If you break your knife due to misuse, we've listed replacement blades here on the site for a fraction of the original price.

Please take the time to study use and carry of specialized tools in non-permissive environments before you attempt to use or carry this knife. Using/carrying this knife is not necessarily intuitive for all people. If you have a problem, it's probably not the product's fault (though you may think so at first). The few reports of problems that we've received in regards to Bone Tactical products after over a decade in business and hundreds of thousands of customers all over the world have historically proven to be the result of operator error.
