Was the Trump Shooter Hired? An Analysis

In the aftermath of the Trump shooter incident, a quick analysis reveals that the shooter was not affiliated with any elite organization or shadow government. As someone with extensive and personal experience in these matters, I am uniquely positioned to provide some helpful insight. The most glaring indicator of the shooter’s amateur status was his profound lack of skill and preparation. Both the shooter and law enforcement personnel displayed surprising deficiencies in tactical proficiency.

The shooter’s choice of an AR-15 for an assassination attempt at a distance of 120 to 160 yards is a clear indication of his inexperience. The AR-15 was originally designed in .308 (7.62x51) caliber and as so is a very versatile weapon. When re-designed for use with the US military, it was backed down to 5.56x45 or .223 caliber. This was done so that average soldiers who could not shoot very effectively were able to have weapons with higher capacities and to carry more ammo. It was also determined that at the time of the Vietnam conflict, a very small caliber rifle such as this could be more effective in certain types of combat by wounding the enemy as opposed to killing them. The theory was that by wounding the enemy, it would take three enemy soldiers out of the fight (since two fellow soldiers may be needed to provide medical care). It was also thought that larger 7.62 rounds, that were more likely to kill, only took one enemy soldier out of the fight at a time. So we can see that the AR-15 is not well suited for precision or lethality in this context. The ballistics of the weapon contradict the effectiveness needed for such an operation. Anyone in charge of "hiring a shooter" or planning an assassination for any large or well-funded organization would be likely to possess this knowledge.

The shooter’s decision to aim for a headshot further underscores his lack of experience. A headshot requires extreme precision, and even unskilled as he was... he only missed the critical "T-zone" by several inches. A professional would have chosen a more reliable approach, understanding the many variables involved like windage, temperature change, distractions, and movement of the target. Opting for a larger caliber weapon to ensure a body shot would be effective (also with a higher probability of a successful hit). An expert tactician would also understand that in this situation, follow-up shots are not a guarantee, further solidifying the need for a large caliber rifle.

The Secret Service counter sniper team, using magnum rounds (likely .338 Lapua), demonstrated the effectiveness of choosing the appropriate weapon. From the selection of the weapon to the execution of the plan, the shooter exhibited a series of rookie mistakes. His need for a rangefinder showed lack of pre-planning and the relatively stable shooting position he found on the roof can be credited mostly to Law Enforcement negligence. These indicators suggest he may have gathered information from online forums, or that he was listening to the wrong "guntubers"... but lacked real-world experience and proper training.

The evidence clearly points to the absence of any elite organization behind the shooter. Professional operatives, whether from government agencies or shadowy groups, would have selected someone at least with proven skills and likely with experience as well. Moreover, the incident reveals a significant failure in President Trump’s security planning, characterized by communication breakdowns and unqualified personnel in critical roles. This negligence created an opportunity for the shooter, but it does not imply any sophisticated orchestration.

In conclusion, the Trump shooter’s actions were marked by incompetence rather than any grand conspiracy. His lack of tactical skill and the evident planning failures on both sides underscore that this was not the work of a trained assassin. Instead, it highlights the importance of proper training and preparation in security operations. President Trump himself remarked on the role of providence in his survival. While tactical skill and planning are critical, the ultimate control lies beyond human capabilities. Faith in God's power and the importance of spiritual armor, as opposed to physical armor, resonates deeply in understanding the protection that transcends our earthly measures. This analysis provides valuable insights into the complexities of such incidents. Understanding the role of tactical incompetence versus conspiracy is crucial in assessing security threats and ensuring proper measures are in place to prevent future occurrences.

  • Your blog doesn’t explain why the SS left such a perfect spot for a killer such as the roof, unattended. That isn’t negligence. I know people who were at the rally that day wondering why there was no cover on that roof.
